On August 8, the 12th "Jinsanfa · Dangsheng" Cup National College Students Nonwoven materials Development and Application Double Innovation Competition was held in Zhejiang. Zhejiang Sci-Tech University is a century-old university with profound heritage, a strong engineering university with distinctive characteristics, and a comprehensive university with multiple disciplines. At present, the school has formed a new development pattern of "three campuses and one center", including Xiasha Campus, Linping Campus, Shangyu Independent College and provincial modern textile Technology Innovation Center. Ni Yangsheng, president of the China Textile and Garment Education Society, said that the purpose of holding the mass innovation competition is to enhance the talent reserve of the industry, open up the science and technology, talent and industry through train, implement the national "mass innovation" work deployment, stimulate the innovative spirit of young students and cultivate entrepreneurial awareness. The competition covers 21 domestic non-woven professional colleges and universities, nearly 200 entries through the development and application of practical operation, to achieve teaching and learning, strengthen the integration of production, learning and research, to provide an important platform for the integration of the industry.

"Jinsanfa · Dangsheng" Cup National College Students Nonwoven Materials Development and Application Double Innovation Competition is an innovative design activity for domestic and foreign nonwoven materials and engineering undergraduates, vocational colleges and postgraduates, and a brand project to guide young students to stimulate the spirit of innovation and cultivate entrepreneurial consciousness. With the theme of "Innovation and sustainability", the competition attracted a total of 192 entries from 21 universities across the country, covering the fields of filtration and separation, medical and health care, safety protection and smart wear. It shows the innovation of nonwoven industry, the multi-discipline of production technology, the flexibility of production process, the diversity of product structure, the wide substitutability of product application fields, and the sustainability of green development.

At the meeting, Li Guimei, president of China Industrial Textile Industry Association, and Qian Xiaoming, professor of Tianjin University of Technology and the leader of the evaluation experts, introduced the evaluation expert group and the evaluation procedure respectively. Yu Bin, deputy leader of the review experts and dean of the College of Textile Science and Engineering of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, announced the results of the review. After expert review, the competition awarded a total of 1 special prize, 2 first prizes, 3 stars of Dangsheng New Materials, 3 stars of Baijiali Design, 9 second prizes and 44 third prizes. Winners will be announced shortly. The award ceremony will be held on September 20 at the China International Industrial Textiles and Nonwovens Exhibition.
